Whether you’re a Hop Head, craft beer aficionado, or just like trying something new, you’re going to appreciate The Hop Stop, right here in Humble.
My first impression was that it’s like a Baskin Robbins for craft beer lovers!
At The Hop Stop it’s all about craft beer. All craft, all the time. And many amazing choices.
You’ll know this is a friendly place as soon as you walk in the door.
We were greeted very warmly by owners Rick and Dawn Tyler, and made to feel like we were among friends, even on our first visit.
In their main bar area, they offer customers a large selection of craft beers from local brewers as well as breweries from all over Texas, the U.S. and even a few International.
One thing I really appreciate is that they have a listing on their website of what’s on tap. It’s great to read the descriptions, see where the beers are from, and get an idea of what you may want to try beforehand. I’m already making out my list of must tries for our next visit.
They have several areas for guests to enjoy when visiting The Hop Stop. Dawn was so nice and gave us a tour. This room is right next door to the main bar area where they serve their guests. She told us that you can bring your own vinyls to spin and many times they have impromptu jams when musicians stop by.
It’s such a cozy and welcoming atmosphere to enjoy an evening of music and craft brews, or a game of darts.
Yesterday when we visited, all the excitement was in the bar area and the patio. It was a nice sunny day and people were enjoying their beers outside, and surprise, The Back Pew crew was there for a tap takeover!
We enjoyed chatting with Bobby, the Brewmaster at Back Pew, and there’s Brennen with Back Pew’s saleslady, Sherry.
It was a great time, good beer, and very friendly people all around.
So, if you’re in the area you now know where to stop in to get your next craft beer fix and also try something new. Dawn told us that they just celebrated their first year anniversary and over 300 people came by to help celebrate. They’re definitely filling a niche here in this area, and bringing the craft beer YUM! Rick and Dawn say, “As residents of the Lake Houston Area, we are proud to bring craft beer to the community we call home. Come join us!”
I hope you’ll stop by the Hop Stop soon, they are located on 1st Street in Humble, and there is always live music on Sundays.
Till next time, and I hope you’ll be enjoying a good beer, stay wonderful!
