Little Wishes

Held close to your heart…

All thanks to Maria Sparks of Steampunk Nation.

I think these are the most clever pieces of jewelry.  Real dandelion seeds encased and made into a unique piece to wear.

Maria has designed these dandelion necklaces using hand blown glass orb terrariums that are delicately filled with little “wishes” and capped in floral filigree to keep the dandelion seeds securely inside.

Maria adds gorgeous faceted Swarovski crystal beads and genuine freshwater pearl accents to her designs – They are absolutely stunning in every detail.

On several of her designs, the orb pendant is attached to an ornate toggle clasp, making for a decorative and practical way to easily wear the necklaces.

Maria is a very gifted designer and makes many different types of steampunk jewelry.

Here is more about Maria in her own words:

“I’ve been designing and creating jewelry now for 22 years. I’m a watchmaker by trade and have always loved working with antique mechanical watches.

Steampunk designs seemed like a natural progression for my jewelry collection. I’ve always been inspired by the beauty of nature, Victorian, Art Nouveau and Art Deco period jewelry.

I have pulled from my extensive collection of antique and vintage watches that I hand selected and acquired over a 25 year period. Each one of a kind jewelry piece is handmade and an original design by me.

My shop offers an eclectic compendium of artistic treasures made with the finest materials, quality craftsmanship and love.”

I hope you’ll stop by and visit Maria and see all of her super gorgeous designs.  It’s hard to pick just one favorite.  Everything is so fabulous.
